So in addition to birthday celebrations, Jack participated with his soccer team, The Dragons, in the State Games of Oregon Soccer Tournament at Delta Park. They played three games, one Saturday and two Sunday. The games were only 30 minutes long (as compared to usual the 60) which seemed to make the games more intense and competitive. Also the teams they played were really good! In the end, The Dragons were awarded the silver medal and were extremely proud of themselves since they most definitely earned it. Coach Erick and Coach Brad also deserve a round of applause since they really worked at making this a fun year of soccer for the boys.
