Eating by herself, again.
No, we did not abandon Kaitlin. She has officially taken over my title of "slowest eater." (Anyone in my family can attest that I do eat slow, but not this slow). It is not unusual for her to still be sitting at the table an hour after the rest of us have finished. She does get down to take a potty break or two, but she always tells us that she's not done and will get back in her chair and continue on. I think the reason she takes so long (other than the fact that she tends to play with her food, sing to us, count to 100, and talk non-stop) is that we tell her she has to eat a certain amount of her dinner in order to get some dessert. So she is determined to finish even if it takes her all night long. This girl loves her desserts!
