Just a snipit of Jack's first game
Jack is participating in our local community center's basketball league for 2nd and 3rd graders and last Friday was his first game. It is HILARIOUS to watch! Lots of traveling with the ball, baskets missed by a mile, players crashing into the wall and each other. But they are all having fun in this non-competitive league. To help them learn the basics of where they should be, each player wears a different colored wristband then has to guard the player on the other team wearing the corresponding color. Jack takes this job of guarding very seriously which I'm sure he learned from watching many Blazers games. (In fact, he even does this at soccer games!) These games continue into December so I'm sure they will all improve, but even if not, we the spectators will always be entertained.
