We have had a very interesting week around here! Sunday morning we were greeted with our first snowfall of the year. The kids were, of course, super excited to get out and play in it. Here are some scenes from our Winter Wonderland.
So because of the "arctic blast" (as the news people have named it), each evening we've been watching to see what the school district has decided for the next day. So far this week, Jack has been to school on Tuesday and also today, Thursday. I was a little nervous this morning since after I dropped him off at school the snow really started to come down! But the temperature has risen some and now all that snow has disappeared. However, they tell us that the super-cold temps are returning so it's any one's guess as to what will be in store for us tomorrow and this weekend when an even bigger storm is supposed to hit. Fabulous. Snow is fine for a day or two, but when it sticks around for too many days, our tiny house starts to feel even tinier when we're all cooped up. All those new Christmas toys would really come in handy right about now!
