Pumpkin Patch

Saturday afternoon we took the kids to the Pumpkin Patch on Sauvie Island. Of course, I left my camera sitting on the counter so I had to do a post-trip picture. We had so much fun on this beautiful fall day. Our first stop was the corn maze (this was Jack's favorite, he said). We got a little lost around the #8 point, but soon found the right path to get us out. Then we visited the farm animals in the barn where we saw sheep, chickens and baby calves. After that it was time for the hay ride to the pumpkins. Kaitlin clung to me the whole time but she said she loved the "bouncy" ride. On our trek through the patch we were looking for pumpkins that were a bit smaller (read: lighter) but the one's the kids found were fine. Lots of people had the same idea that day, but it was really a fun, family outing that we all enjoyed.
